What makes our edges different from others sold?
Our rubber edges are made in America, in S.W. Michigan .
These rubber edges are all 8” tall and 1” thick.
Our SBS Premium rubber is much more dense and has a higher weight. Our rubber will last longer, wear better.
72” Frontier = 19#. Our SBS Premium Edge weighs =32# (+13# ).
84” Frontier= 22#, Our SBS Preium Edge weighs = 37# (+15# ).
96” Frontier = 26#, Our SBS Premium Edges weighs = 44# (+18# ).
The weight difference is significant. The heavier rubber in this use will provide superior wear life and durability as well as pavement clearing in all temperatures.
Our edges are professionally machined for optimal fit and to match OEM fit.
Our edges are all Double Sided for maximum wear life and durability
We can add mounting holes for vertical adjustment in the rubber edge if the customer desires. Some edges can have up to 3 mounting positions.
Our edges ship with a full set of new corrosion resistant hardware to make the installation and future adjustments trouble free.
Should you order a Rubber Edge or a Edge Kit for your pusher?
The Rubber Edge-
is our Premium replacement rubber edge only, with the new hardware. This is intended for those who have already been using a rubber edge on their snow pusher and they already have the mounting straps to secure the rubber edge product.
The Edge Kit -
is our Premium replacement rubber edge and it includes the custom machined UHMW Straps to secure the rubber edge to the plow. The Edge Kit also includes the full set of installation hardware to install the Premium Rubber Edge, our UHMW Edge Mounting Straps.
Are the Mounting straps for your AS10H pusher bent, damaged, rusty or missing?
We can make your pusher a new set of steel mounting straps or you can upgrade to our custom UHMW mounting straps. We prefer the UHMW straps for these reasons;
They are very durable, a solid color through, never need painting or powder coating and they will never rust or corrode.
The UHMW straps can endure reasonable impacts without bending or twisting where the steel straps can not.
Our UHMW Straps are 1” thick for the 72”, 84” and 96” pusher widths to provide maximum strength.
Should you desire new steel mounting straps, we can make those for you as well. You can even get those powder coated in a custom color if that’s your thing. Just contact us and we can discuss what you want and give you a quote to make the straps just for you.
