Should you order a Rubber Edge or a Edge Kit for your pusher?

The Rubber Edge is our Premium replacement rubber edge only, with the new hardware. This is intended for those who have already been using a rubber edge on their snow pusher and they already have the mounting straps to secure the rubber edge product.

The Edge Kit is our Premium replacement rubber edge and it includes the custom machined UHMW Straps to secure the rubber edge to the plow. The Edge Kit also includes the full set of installation hardware to install the Premium Rubber Edge, our UHMW Edge Mounting Straps.

The Rubber Edge is for those who already have been using the rubber edge on their pusher and need to replace just the rubber wear edge. The Edge Kit is for those who are replacing the steel wear edge with our Premium Rubber Edge Kit and need the straps as well….

Should you have the rubber edge on your AS11H pusher and have damaged the OEM steel straps which are sold with the Deere rubber edge, we can replace the steel straps or can make you a set of our Premium UHMW Edge Straps to replace the steel straps. We prefer the UHMW straps for these reasons;

  • They are very durable and a solid color through so they never need painting or powdercoating

  • The UHMW straps can endure reasonable impacts without bending or twisting where the steel straps can not.

  • Our UHMW straps are never going to rust or corrode so they don’t need any future maintenance.

  • Our UHMW Straps are 1” thick for the 72”, 84” and 96” pusher widths to provide maximum strength.

  • Should you need just the UHMW straps for your pusher, please contact us and we can give you a quote to make the straps for you.

  • All of our UHMW Straps ship with new hardware to fit the straps additional width on the snow pusher.

  • Our UHMW Straps are machined for horizontal adjustment of the edges when installing them to make the process easy and to permit easy adjustments of the rubber edges.

If you need to scrape hard packed snow and ice from the pavement, the UHMW edge on the snow pusher is more suited for the use than the rubber edge.

However, many also use our rubber edges for cleaning pavement with hard pack snow and ice by applying a small amount of snow melt products in the areas of the hard pack snow or ice on the pavement. The snow melt will loosen the ice or hard pack allowing the rubber edge to scrape the pavement clean.

Please note, these larger pusher edges and kits are produced when ordered. We will verify the dimensions of your snow pusher edge to make sure our product fits your pusher perfectly and allows for maximum adjustment and use. Please allow 15 business days (Mon - Fri, excluding holidays and weekends) for the production of these items.

All of our rubber edges are double sided for extended wear life. This edge is heavy when produced and will be rolled, shrink wrapped and packaged or bound to a pallet for shipment.

International orders are billed shipping charges at the carrier selection of the customer. We will prepare the product for shipment, contact the International Shipping Services and obtain quotes from them for shipping. The shipping charges are then billed to the customer on a separate invoice when the product is ready to ship. Please allow extra time for the International Shipping as this usually adds one to three extra days for the additional steps involved. Thank you.
