These are the Deere steel Shims which fit between the end of the Main Under tractor Quick Hitch bracket and the under tractor frame brackets which are bolted in place. Please make sure to double check the Deere Parts book to make sure your tractor’s front Quick Tach Hitch mount uses these brackets.
Deere sells these shims for $19.56 each.
We Sell these same Shims at $17.00 each, or for approximately 10% less than Deere sells these shims. Also, we laser cut these shims at the same thickness with high quality material so the fit it correct. If you are buying a used front hitch set up for your tractor chances are you are going to need the shims to prevent the front rattle in the hitch when using it.
If your Quick Hitch PTO brackets rattles in the frame brackets or shifts side to side, make sure to add these shims as the movement of the bracket can cause wear on the brackets ears, the frame brackets and it also can slightly change the PTO alignment, which can cause wear in the PTO bearings, etc.
Note, some models use up to 2 of these shims, others use up to 3 shims.

WHen you buy the shims from us, we include the M8×30 Hex head flange and a lock bolt and flange lock nut, that holds the shims in place when the hitch and brackets are removed. We include the hardware with the shims as finding the correct hardware to properly fit isn’t always as easy as one thinks….We special order all of our Metric Flange bolts and serrated metric flange nuts so we provide the correct hardware to our customers with the brackets, shims, etc.
The shims are sold each, so please order the correct number needed. The shims required are listed with the part number of the Quick Hitch Mounting bracket used in the installation’

Since you likely won’t know off hand which Quick Hitch Mounting Bracket you are using, one way to confirm is with the following.
The LVA21000 Quick Hitch Bracket uses the front triangular brackets on the very ends of the front mount on the front of the Quick Tach Hitch, where it hangs on the tractor frame end bracket.
Also, the brackets under the tractors frame under the engine where the Quick Hitch Mounting Bracket mounts, are quite square in shape. The LVA21000 is used with the brackets which Deere calls the Mower and Quick Hitch Brackets. We also manufacture and sell these brackets should you need them.
The LVA22590 bracket does not use the front triangular brackets on the Quick Tach Hitch on the front where the hitch hangs on the end of the tractors frame. And the brackets under the engine, between the frame rails are smaller and have curves and radius on the brackets.
The LVA21000 main under tractor PTO carrier bracket is used more often on the 2025r Gen 2 machines, however, both the 1025r and 2025r models use the both Quick Tach Hitch brackets.
