Which Edge Category is right for you?
Standard Duty UHMW Edges are for the typical residential use of the plow. Ideal for the owners driveway and a couple of neighbors drives. If you use your tractor and plow for snow clearing up to 100 machine hours per year, the standard duty UHMW edge is ideal for you.
Commercial Duty UHMW Edges are for heavy residential use or light duty commercial use. These edges are intended to be used up to 150 hours per winter plowing snow.
If you have snow clearing use which exceeds 150 hours in the winter season, contact us and we will build a UHMW edge to meet your needs.
It will ship with corrosion resistant mounting hardware. We use cap screws, fender washers and flat washers and lock nuts.
The UHMW will be cut to length and all mounting holes professionally machined into the edge for easy installation.
The longer length UHMW edges will be cut into 2 pieces for shorter lengths for shipping and easier installation.
If the edge is cut, its location of the cut is carefully chosen so the seam is properly supported by the mounting hardware.
We use black reprocessed UHMW which is the most common product used for plow edges.
Our edge will have instructions for installation and use.
Depending upon inventory levels, your edge may have to be produced when ordered. Please allow 12 to 15 business days for the production and machining of your item to prepare for shipment to you.
