This product allows you to remove the steel plow wear edge and replace it with a custom designed and laser cut rubber edge to eliminate pavement damage when clearing snow and other similar uses. No more scraping the asphalt and damaging the sealer or leaving rust lines in the cement or concrete surface. This kit turns your Woods 3ph blade into a snow clearing implement which is quiet, doesn't harm the surface and cleans the snow far better than the steel wear edge being replaced.
Our Standard Duty Blade Rubber Edge Kit includes the following
Custom laser cut, rubber plow edge material to provide extraordinary snow clearing results. The rubber plow edge height and thickness is based upon the plow's width, weight and intended use.
Wider plow blades will have thicker and taller rubber wear edges due to the plows greater weight. The rubber edge is produced to permit adjustment as used to make sure to provide the optimal clearing results.
You can choose between a single side wear edge or a double sided rubber wear edge which will permit you to flip the rubber edge as it wears, and have another brand new wear edge to work with clearing snow.
The steel strap which we custom cut to fit your plow, is based upon the plow's width and operating weight due to the snow clearing loads. The straps will be thicker and wider for plows which are wider, to provide outstanding results. Also those plows with double sided rubber edges will require heavier duty straps to properly secure the rubber edge.
Easy to install due to the precision fabrication. Simply remove the plow's steel plow edge and all hardware and set it aside. Install our new rubber edge and the metal strap and follow the installation instructions and you will find dramatically improved plow function and snow clearing results.
