I know first hand as I have tried numerous snow implements over the years, and the CTA snow pusher is my snow clearing implement of choice.

The CTA Snow Pusher Top Flap Kit
Rolls the snow ahead of the Snow Pusher for more effective clearing
Reduces the snow stacking in front of the pusher moldboard
The more the snow rolls forward, the less snow there is to come over the pusher and back onto the pavement.
Mounts to the top flange of the moldboard in the pre-drilled holes.
Includes the top flap chosen, the UHMW Mounting Strap to secure the rubber to the snow pusher and corrosion resistant hardware to install the top flap.
To order the Top Flap Kit, follow these steps
Select the size of your CTA Snow pusher, either 60” or 72” from the buttons in the product offering.
Select the Top Flap Kit, either in the 6” Flap Size or the 8” Flap Size.
Input your personal information and payment method. We will handle the rest.
Installation time for these products.
Top Flap Kit installs in another 15 to 30 minutes, with a SAE socket or ratchet Wrench easy installation.
We discourage using an impact tool on the top flap kit as the impact tools tend to over tighten the smaller hardware which holds the pusher top flap. Use a ratchet or combination wrench for installation. Make sure to not exceed the top flap bolt torque settings as it will distort the top flap and can damage the top flap install plate.

To tailor to the snow pusher owners snow conditions and desired results, we offer these top flap kit choices.
Our 6” Top Flap, is our heavier rubber edge which is 6” wide rubber flap material which is 1/2” thick. This flap is the stiffest and least likely to flex upward, allowing the snow to stack in front of the implement. This Top Flap is purpose designed for use with snow which is more moisture laden and heavy, typical of snow which falls between 30F and 38F.
The 8” Top Flap is our alternative top flap. Being 8” in width, but constructed of thinner rubber material, at 3/16” this plow has a larger range of movement than our 6” Top Flap.. This 8” flap is well suited for snow which is deeper and lighter, much like the snow which falls when air temps are below 25F.
Either top flap kit includes a machine produced UHMW mounting strap, laser cut with square shanks to hold carriage bolts and secure the rubber flap to the metal flange across the top of the snow pusher. All corrosion resistant hardware is included for the installation. The UHMW strap secures the rubber top flaps perfectly on the plows top flange and the corrosion resistant hardware prevents issues with rust or corrosion of the hardware.
