We have developed the most extensive plow edge offerings to meet the needs of any plow owner. We have our Premium rubber and UHMW Edge offerings to reduce the damage to the pavement and to lawns.
We cover all range of use for these plows, from the homeowner clearing their own driveway, to the schools, hospitals and commercial users of these plows who plow for hours and miles every time it snows. If you have a 60” Deere plow, we have an rubber or UHMW Plow edge to best meet your needs.
Rubber Plow Edges require a separate edge mounting strap.
The 60” Deere Plow REQUIRES a dedicated mounting strap for any of the rubber edges available. The steel plow edge which comes on the 60” Deere plow when new is too tall to be used as a strap to hold the plows rubber edge.
To properly mount the rubber plow edge on the Deere 60” plow, you have a couple of choices.
Order the 60” Rubber Edge Kit of your choice. The kit includes the selected rubber edge and a UHMW strap to hold the rubber edge on the plow.
The UHMW plow mounting strap that ships in the rubber edge kits, is not made to clear the pavement. Its made to hold the rubber edge in the best manner for the edge to function as designed.
You can NOT use the 60” plow steel edge to hold the rubber edge on the 60” plow because the steel edge is too large. It will prevent the rubber edge from working correctly if the Deere 60” steel edge remains on the plow.
80% of our customers order the Plow Edge Kit with the UHMW strap to hold the rubber plow edge.
A Creative Solution that uses both the Rubber and UHMW Plow Edges
15% of our customers order the Standard Duty Rubber Edge ONLY and then they order the UHMW Single Side Residential Edge. They can use the UHMW Single side edge as a strap to hold the rubber edge by flipping the UHMW edge upside down.
Then when they need to use the UHMW edge, they remove the bolts, remove the rubber edge and flip the UHMW edge with the wear side down and they put the rubber edge in the garage and the UHMW edge on the plow. When they want to switch back to the rubber edge, they unbolt the UHMW edge, remove it, reinstall the rubber edge and use the UHMW edge upside down to hold the rubber edge. Takes about 10 minutes to effect this change.
5% of our customers order the rubber edges as either a replacement edge or they make their own strap to hold the rubber edge on the plow.
You do NOT need a separate mounting strap for our 60” Deere UHMW Edges because they mount with the hardware provided with their purchase.

Severe Duty Rubber Plow Edge or Kit, Includes;
Two (2) 6” tall, rubber plow edges, One (1) edge 1/2” thick and One (1) 3/4” thick rubber plow edge with Stainless Steel hardware.
The rubber is double sided and a total of 1.25” thick to provide extended wear and pavement clearing life.
The Kit includes the rubber edge listed and the 3/4” thick UHMW strap and Stainless Steel hardware for rust free future adjustments.
Expected Wear life is 450 to 575 average driveway clearings*
Extreme Duty Rubber Plow Edge or Kit, Includes
Two (2) 6” tall, 3/4” thick rubber plow edges, totaling 1.5” of rubber edge with Stainless Steel hardware.
The rubber is 25% higher in the thickness of our Severe Duty Rubber edge thickness.
The Kit Includes our 1” thick UHMW Edge Strap and extra long stainless hardware for years of rust free and trouble free edge adjustments.
Expected wear life of each side of the plow edge is 125 to 150 miles of single width straight line plowing, which is 500 to 600 residential driveway clearings. This is equivalent to approximately 175 to 225 hours of snow plowing. Its a LOT of snow clearing………..*

Standard Duty Rubber Edge
Basic edge product for residential homeowner use. If you plow your driveway and maybe one or two others, this edge is suited for this level of use.
Heavy Duty Rubber Edge
A thicker rubber edge for residential use and for those with larger driveways. Also for those who plow more than their own driveway each snowfall. This is our second most common rubber edge, purchased, after the Severe Duty edge.
Severe Duty Rubber Edge
A thicker and taller rubber edge which is double sided and provides the longest wear life of these Standard, Heavy Duty and Severe rubber edge categories. This is our most popular purchased rubber edge and is used by Homeowners, Commercial Plowing operators and the customers who like to have the very best equipment for their use.
Extreme Duty Rubber Edge
Our Extreme Duty rubber edge is double the thickness and duty life of our Severe Duty Rubber Edge. This is the heaviest duty, longest lasting and most durable plow edge kit we offer. This is used by those who plow snow for hours and miles at a time when they clear snow. Hospitals, Schools, Commercial plow operators, Landscape Companies and Estate Owners are the customers who purchase this Extreme Duty Rubber Edge.

*Expected wear life’s listed are only use estimates and are NOT guaranteed. A typical driveway is a driveway 150’ to 175’ long, 10’ to 14’ wide and paved. Driveway pavement condition will also impact the plow edge wear life.
Plow operation and down pressure applied are big factors in plow edge wear results. A plow edges life will be shortened if it strikes fixed objects or is other wise damaged. These edges have been tested and used extensively on these plows with excellent results when used properly and the down pressure was not excessive.
