Ultra High Molecular Weight plow edges are extremely strong and ideal for scraping hard pack snow and ice.
UHMW is not abrasive and won’t damage MOST asphalt surfaces when used with care.
Just be careful using a UHMW edge on asphalt which is very new, as it tends to be softer until the asphalt “grays in”, or when it cures and turns the gray color of seasoned asphalt.
Also use care on driveway repairs as it can displace crack filling or other surface repairs with down pressure applied.
